30th September 2016 - Canoes, Trains and Aqueducts The trains don't start until 10am and we were usually out and about before then so we had to wait for the last day to get a view of a passing train from our balcony! We then had another look at the impressive Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and went in search of Chirk Aqueduct for good measure! |

28th September 2016 - The Ffestiniog Railway Dismal weather with rain most of the time, apart from a short walk around Porthmadog, didn't detract from a lovely ride on a wonderful railway |

27th September 2016 - Walking the Llangollen Canal A lovely walk along the canal from right alongside our hotel to the aqueduct at Pontcysyllte The rain had just started when we came back up from viewing the aqueduct from below and had gone by the time we came out of the pub! |

27th September 2016 - The Chainbridge Hotel Stunning views from this lovely hotel perched right between the Llangollen Canal and the River Dee, overlooking Berwyn station and having its own chain bridge across the river |
